If i can do what you say with local, then could you please expand a bit?

I have a health bar in a HUD global layer. When the player looses some life and then moves on to the next layout, the health bar resets to full.

I should have mentioned that my test is not top down. With your solution the enemy was facing the player as i wanted, but when the player moved on enemy's back, the enemy followed but upside down.
(i hope that makes sense )
