  • Looks like it's working perfectly now ^^ Good job

  • I made this test:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/FSF539x.png" border="0" />

    Flipped + Mirrored: looks the same as normal. ONLY mirrored or ONLY flipped works as usual

    90 Degrees: looks like it rotated counter-clockwise

    So, flipped + mirrored is not the same as 90 degrees

    These are the events:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/s7IHPqY.png" border="0" />

  • But 180 is looking the same as 0. The point is that there is a discrepancy between Tiled and the plugin

  • Rex, there seems to be a problem with angle in the latest version:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/cd7JcBF.png" border="0" />

    On the editor: 0, 90, 180, 270 (pressing Z to rotate)

    In game: 0, ?, ?, ? Using "TMXImporter.TileAngle" to set the angle

    Seems like a conflict with flipping and mirroring because it worked after I removed those from my game

  • orangemicro sqiddster Jase00

    The game runs at 60fps normally

    Made new tests, setting all the programs to record at 60fps

    Fraps: records fine (on the previous test it was set to 30fps)

    Bandicam: pretty good, 57~60 fps

    Camtasia: Full screen: 55~60 fps, fps drops to 40 when recording region

    LiceCap: still drops to 30 fps

    So... might just be faulty software. They have much better performance when recording a bigger area, instead of just my 320x288 game

  • Every time I try to record my game the FPS drops to 30. I can record other things with no performance issues, but C2 games have the speed halved.

    Tested with Fraps, Camtasia and LiceCap(captures gifs)

    It's too specific to be just a coincidence... any information on this?

  • Got it working, thanks! Had to put a sub-event with "TMXImporter.IsFlipped = 1" -> "set Tile mirrored"

  • Tokinsom

    How do I change the position they are being created at? I'm using the action "Create tiles" and I don't see how to change the position

  • https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3954039/Temp/tmx_importer.capx

    In the example there's a black tile, then a blue tile on top of it, then a mirrored blue tile on top of it.

    The thing is, I got it to work fine if I put the origin point is in the center, but then the tiles won't be aligned to the grid.

  • Yeah, kinda works, but shouldn't it take into consideration the origin point? I mean, it flips the tile, but then it will be X pixels off. (my map got all messed up now)

    ex:

    A tile is at 16,16, it is 8x8 and it's mirrored

    In C2 it will be drawn at 8,16 with it's origin on 16,16

  • You can press X to mirror and Y to flip. Then TMXImporter has the expressions TMXImporter.IsFlipped and TMXImporter.IsMirrored which I don't know how to use

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • How do I set objects to flip or mirror? I have them mirrored in Tiled, but TMXImporter don't mirror them. I tried some ways to do this but the plugin just have too many actions and expressions...
