Thanks!
Dropzone Mars was made in 3 days for the Ludum Dare 41 game jam.
It is a mix of shoot-em-up and city builder. You must drop colonists on to the planet surface and defend them from unreasonable Martians trying to stop you from taking their planet. To negotiate with the Martians you have been given an auto-firing mounted cannon and a full supply of bombs.
Please let me know if you find any bugs or other issues.
You can play the game here: https://www.scirra.com/arcade/shooting- ... mars-29310

Have fun!
Working on the loading screens for a public access terminal today, still WIP. At the moment these terminals act as a checkpoint and a place for the player to rest and restock.
Very cool, great modernization of the old school!
Thanks a lot!
Today I've been testing a multi-throw ability.
Testing the steam/smoke cover mechanic with dynamic lighting. Initially the smoke would separate the light but it wasn't as intuitive for the player to use.
That is one crazy artstyle! I like it.
Testing dynamic shadows, this looks crazy but everything is working perfectly!
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Thanks
Currently working on simple drone behaviour. They are a nuisance but useful if you know hacking.
In this shot there are three ways to pass, the difficulty of each is based on your character's skills and items.
Quick gif playing around with throwing weapons. Destroying and killing stuff is usually the easier option but will have affects on the game later on.
Still working on midgame backgrounds and stuff. I added a bit more colour to this one which should look pretty cool once it's animated.
Thanks Allen T! Same to you too!
Quick update: working on the graphics for the city stage. Seems to be more difficult to avoid bad clashes with background lights and constructing something believeable but working OK so far.
