Construct X Gamee game jam was a one off a few years ago.
It was vastly published in the forums and on Construct Team social medias.
The best is to keep an eye on the forums and follow "ConstructTeam" on Facebook or Twitter.
It is made to work with keyboard controls, on desktop computers.
If you have suggestions for new features or improvements in Construct 3, we have a feature suggestion platform here which lets everyone vote on their favourite ideas:
construct3.ideas.aha.io
Please look for existing ideas before submitting a new one. It's better to get all votes on the same idea than spreading it around.

You seem to put a lot of energy into reinventing the wheel. Perhaps you should check what is actually available in Construct first, and then, you might expand it with valuable third-part addons.
As usual, if you run in to a bug or issue in Construct 3, please post it to the GitHub issue tracker here:

Start with the Beginner's guide to Construct 3.
Consider posting your question in the Construct 2 forums rather than in this unrelated blog post.
Cocoon support has been dropped years ago. You should modify your project and use the supported exports as indicated in the manual article and update your file in the store.
The maximum time for code validity is 3 months.
In your scenario, you would have to create 4 codes during the year.
Each time you create a new code, you would provide it to the group of students you would be working with for this period only.
Saving projects is done as indicated in this manual article : construct.net/en/make-games/manuals/construct-3/overview/saving-sharing-projects
There is no requirement for a subscription or a code for saving projects.
Projects are saved on your own computer space or a cloud service of your choice.
Cloud service would require accounts on their service, but this is outside of the scope of Construct itself.
