  • Just one more (and the last I think) update. Chromium team just marked this bug as fixed: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is ... 667731#c32

    The official fix will be implemented in Chromium 56, so should appear soon in one of upcoming NW.js releases.

  • Hey! We have finally launched Ultimate Solid v1.1.0.

    Steam Trading Cards, Steam Achievements and 11 languages support has been added and more languages will be added soon!

    Also the problem with recording/streaming the gameplay is fixed in this version.

  • Thanks to you both, I think I will add this one to the roundup as well.

    If there are more quirks like these please keep PM'ing/posting them, I would like to update (+push) this topic once for a bunch of changes instead of doing it multiple times and annoy people that don't have anything to do with NWjs.

    I think that those who don't have anything to do with NWjs are not following this thread and those who do would appreciate to be up to date ASAP, so I would vote for updating it whenever there is a new info.

  • Yes, this means that "--in-process-gpu" is off the table and not needed anymore?

    Alright, I tested this today. In order to see Achievement Unlocked pop up it is enough to use the --disable-direct-composition option but --in-process-gpu is still needed to be able to see the Steam Overlay (Shift + TAB).

  • Just implemented Steam Achievements with this plugin. Literally several events in capx needed to cover all my needs for my game. Everything worked with the first attempt, that's how easy it is.

    So just wanted to say: Thank You and Awesome Job!

  • Did you manage to get it to work with "Capture Game"? because capture screen and window are working, but they not as optimal for game recording.

    I use NWjs 0.18.7 and c2 r239.

    Ah, you haven't mentioned "Capture Game" mode earlier. I have black screen with "Capture Game" mode as well.

  • I've test NWjs export with this new argument and I still get a black screen when trying to record with OBS, anyone else tested OBS?

    I just installed and tried OBS. It works fine for me. Recorded a gameplay on default settings. I just installed the OBS, launched the game and started to record.

    What NW.js version do you use?

    It is possibly not needed any more. I'm currently not able to test it, I think MadSpy might know more about that?

  • Hey. Just wanted to highlight one thing. I talked with few people who didn't want to join the group at start because they thought it's a video/audio Skype group. It is not. It's a Skype Chat group, so don't be scared, you won't have to talk .

  • So the single process thing was resolved, too?

    If you mean the issue with screen recording and/or screen flickering, it was not about multi processing, but yes it is resolved. Please see this post for more details:

  • There are two more things worth to mention.

    1. You should remove the current version of the NW.js you have currently installed before installing the new one. Otherwise your OSX export size will be huge. Some more info here: viewtopic.php?f=146&t=181578

    2. Changing the Mac icon.

    a) convert your PNG to ICNS (here for example: https://iconverticons.com/online/)

    b) copy ICNS file to [yourGameName].app/Contents/Resources
