The admins have stated previously they'd accept Construct games, but I don't think anybody's finished one yet!
Try adding it as a resource in the resources bar.
Ask him to paste here his video hardware details - use this tool to do it quickly. That error code means 'not available' according to my docs, so my guess is his computer is very old or cheap or lacks any video hardware whatsoever, so it can't run DirectX games.

I think you have to download the platform SDK separately for the express editions.
You could try the Win32 SDK which is also included. I think I need to do a new SDK release soon though, there have been many SDK changes.
What happens with this kind of bug is something goes wrong in Construct and every time you hit save it's generating a corrupt file. I'll take a look at the caps you sent and see if I can find anything wrong...
That's not a bug. You need to use the Set Path action before any of the Current Path expressions can return anything. I've closed the bug. Still - can't see any problems with the Path object, anybody else having issues?
