I consider this an antagonistic and bad faith comment under the Forum & Community guidelines. This is a warning that you should change your conduct or you may face temporary bans or other moderation action.
For your information I have also done several Android APK builds, both during testing and after this beta release, and they have all worked fine so far. This is precisely why we ask for bug reports following the guidelines and why only mentioning issues in comments or forum posts is insufficient for solving the problem. Resorting to antagonistic comments is not only against the Forum & Community guidelines; it will also make it even less likely your problem is solved.
We have guidelines specifically written to help non-technical people file a useful issue. We get many useful reports from users just like yourself. As a small team with limited resources, we rely in large part on co-operation from users to help us identify if something isn't working right and get it fixed. This is also the whole purpose of beta releases: to help those in the community who opt in to using beta releases help identify problems and get them fixed before the next stable release. If you don't want to run in to unexpected problems or are unwilling to file issues, I'd advise to stick to just stable releases.
This issue was nothing to do with third-party addons.
If you run in to any problems, please file an issue following all the guidelines.
You can already add variables to event sheets. See event variables in the manual.
If you run in to problems please file an issue following all the guidelines.
The issue should now be resolved. If you previously loaded this version and preview wasn't working, you'll need to clear your browser cache and then reload Construct, and it should be working again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We've run in to an unforeseen issue when deploying this release that didn't come up in testing: currently previewing projects is not working with this release. We need to update the server to fix it. We're looking in to it and are hoping to have it resolved soon!
Construct 3 runs in the browser and also works offline. Just visit editor.construct.net
The underlying Chrome feature is not currently supported on Android. Google need to add support. You can track progress of their Android implementation of local file access at this issue: crbug.com/1011535
Mobile apps already work offline. They bundle all the resources in the app.
You can already collaborate on projects with GitHub.
You can already adjust the text size with BBcode.
