  • Got too many projects that are pretty cool that I've shown glimpses of that I wish I could afford to work on but sadly can't do to financial reasons here and there + stress. Just trying to get a game with smaller scope out first to garner some good income.

    and to take it further how do I show 10m 490k 17b etc. for millions thousands billions and others beyond?

    1t 017b 890m 742k for example

    I know there are lots of long tedious solutions but Im more wondering if construct has something built in to help simplify this- and if not, maybe it should have an option to do so? Im assuming this is a pretty common thing for games to need-

    Attached is a simple game Im working on- right now the money is just some large un-formatted number and Id like to be able to make it more readable.

  • I bought a license for C3 to finish my C2 projects and havent even been able to import them yet waiting on this... license expires in a few months...

  • Seams silly to not have a basic search feature in the arcade... doesn't it?

    Categories aren't enough- makes some things practically impossible to find. Wish the devs would take a little more time to refine the arcade section and sorting / searching etc.

  • haddy22 - When you used the Dialogue Template, how did you about creating all the dialogue content? Were you using the Dialogue Utility, *.csv files, or did you have another tool flow?

    Yeah I just used the default- but I never got super far along with the 2 games I was using it for. I could see it getting frustrating or overwhelming for big projects. My experience with magitross tho, if you send him a PM, he is SUPER helpful. Very nice guy. Not sure if he is as active now as he used to be. He helped me a ton with all the custom things I wanted to do.

    Looks cool, very clean interface and graphics. For some reason the top boxes with text don't feel the same as the rest of the UI ('3d-ish' vs 2d?) Looking forward to checking out the game play. That's a great goal to knock it out in one month, have you done that before?

    Thanks for the advice on the UI- I see what you mean. Ill see if I have time to change it- I kind of dont want to mess with it because I marked that as "done" a while ago
