There are various ways to measure time in Construct. The wall clock is the time that is not impacted by the time scale. 'dt without timescaling' is obviously the same.
Usually, when people pause a game, they set the time scale to 0. The two options you mentioned won't be affected by this.

This update looks great and I love seeing how often Construct gets improved and updated. It's really amazing.
Our game took part in Steam's Next Fest last October with a demo and it went really well. However, there was no way I was going to be able to use WV2 for production for a Steam release. NW.js is a bit cumbersome, but the end result is professional and works very well. I'm glad to see there will still be support for this for the next couple years and hopefully WV2 will catch up to NW.js. WV2 feels like playing with Duplo blocks when I really need to be building with Legos.
