  • Nice to meet you! Hope you enjoyed your stay so far. By the way, enjoy the weekend, yay! =)

  • And once again the translation is up to date. Nice to see JavaScript having a little guide now for beginners. ;-)

Saw a couple of translation errors whilst doodling with Construct in german - fighting ugly fusterclucks in brain whilst rethinking variable and operator names from german to english and vice versa. And I thought Excel was evil when =SUM was shown as =SUMME...

Anyway, wish you a happy time creating! ^_^

P.S. If anyone knows a better word for "escape" concerning the string's special chars escaping than "ausbrechen", lemme hear it, mkay?! :-o

  • Newest translations are done and ready - 50 terms updated.

Cheers and wish you much creativity! =)

  • Translations are done and up-to-date again. If you see any mistakes, would you mind give me a hint? :-)

    Cheers!

  • Man, what a journey. Is it really just 4 years since your first release? Awesome work anyway. Gotta test this right now! =)

    Three cheers, Colonel Justice! 0oo0

  • Alright,

the current 17 terms for the upcoming release are translated.

    Cheers!

  • Aye, fixed it just that moment. So there will no need for me to correct existing entries as the reviewer will take care of this?

  • Achtung Kameraden! ;-)

Alrighty then, took me some time, but the translation to German is done. Next steps are consistency checks, spell re-checking and general quality control. I will testrun it, when I use Construct 3, but I am limited to the Free Edition.

The decision how "You" was translated fell on the less formal version of You "Du" instead of the formal "Sie". Had the thought in mind Construct is for a younger and playful audience.

So I saw other translators translating in the formal version and eagerly rewritten some of the others entries until I realized what I am doing (Sorry for the mess for it was about 40 to 60 entries...). So I stopped and waiting for the final decision: To write formal or not?

Anyhow, I will browse through the other topics, if there are any next steps I am missing.

Besides, critique is always welcome. Write me if you see an error or faulty semantics.

Have a good one but not mine! ;-P

    P. S. Ashley you might want to have a look on this. Cheers! =)

  • That's what I feared...

Just read Android doesn't support restricted profiles. But then as an alternative, is it possible to conquer the focus of the phone by pushing the app to the foreground every time the user wants to switch out or over to another app? That would suffice.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Hey there,

I saw a few topics, which discussed this already. But none where of help. The aim of the game is to lock the phone for a couple of hours. Similar to what Flipd does. The app should keep itself in the foreground like modal windows, only allowing emergency calls and a single number, which can be called to unlock the phone prematurely.

Is there any way to achieve this for iPhone and Android with Construct?

Cheers and thanks for your time!

    Sam
