    some small changes

    Shadow that shows where you'll land

    You can now adjust the camera in some sections

    Some particles when landing, rolling, walljumping or running

    Some keybindings (icons change over time to show every keybind)

    Extra:

    Camera moves sligthly down when falling

    Emeralds now get brighter while you're carrying them

    Indicator that shows where you are when offscreen

  • The variety of mechanics is cool - the only minor issue was wall/edge grab conflicting with the wall jump. Maybe part of it is the animations though, as the animation doesn't kick-flip off the wall, it looks like the character is bouncing off.

    Nice animations - would say like the others to maybe stick to common key-bindings with WASD / Shift/CTRL/Space etc.

    Well... im not much of an animator, but i will try to improve some animations over time

    Right now im really struggling with level design, nobody told me it was bad, but... im just afraid of the levels being too hard, too easy or even too short (they are meant to be very replayable), a lot of the playtests i made irl were just pain, now i feel like im on the right way to do it :D, i have to start accepting imperfect stuff i make

    also, i often get distracted with little things like making better support for generic usb gamepads

  • Edge grab is nice feature. I have no luck running using 'J' key then try to jump. But it's really easy using just tap tap arrow key to run then jump.

    Which keys would you recommend to be the default controls?

    People seem to have headaches when playing on a keyboard

    I didnt really got that much time to work on the game

    So...

    I made a new level

    One thing that i liked in another version (thats not in the arcade) is that the level was very short, but it had some challenges for those who likes collectibles to test their skills, so i tried to replicate that in this version too

    There are collectibles

    It looks like a diamond, but its actually a emerald

    If you collect many at once you'll have a trail of emeralds (thats cool, right?)

    I made a background

    Its just flying blocks

    I fixed some bugs here and there

    Ive added some keys to the controls too

    I removed the music bc i wasnt happy with it so i will make another song

    And thats it!

    Its not that much actually, but i think i will keep this level on the game

    I will try to make a menu now

  • Right ok thanks makes sense it is in the description just not in the game yet. I would add the tutorial in the game asap since you can't progress without it and seems to be a main feature. Also since you always need to use this jump I think it's a little fiddly on the other button maybe you can use S for this.

    Yeah, i know, the buttons are like this because its the way im used to play games on keyboard, sorry if the bindings are wierd
