Thanks! It is a reference, I made this right after playing Faith haha
The bit outside when you first see her? You have to outrun her.
I was trying to write the "plot" in a way that kind of requires the player to put together their own version of what they think happened. I do have my own version in mind but I'd be curious what you thought was happening throughout?
Thank's mate. I actually was inspired to try putting together a short horror directly after playing FAITH haha, the "religious painting" in the living room is meant to be a direct reference!
That's the second ending and yeah it is meant to loop, he is trapped by himself in that ending!
Aye...
Haha forgot to reactivate events for the player falling off screen in the original upload, fixed now!
Thanks, Tom!
I'm planning to release it on pay what you want (or free) on itch.io and maybe on Steam later on :)
Ah I should have, I'd update but I don't think I've got the original files anymore :(. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Kyatric Yeah I had thought of trying something similar but I was having issues preventing the text from skipping mid word. I think you are right though it doesn't seem worth the hassle to automate it when adding manual linebreaks is still fairly convenient. Thanks again for such a detailed tutorial anyway bud.
Great work, Kyatric. I was hoping you would cover how to make the text automatically go to a newline if it's length is too long for the bounding box, currently it flicks for a second and then adjusts itself - I've worked around it by manually adding ""&newline to my xml strings, any idea for an automated solution?

Sorry about that, I accidently left an API call for Newgrounds on level 20, as the game is on there too. Updated it now, thanks for spotting that :).
