  • The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round ... that's all fine and dandy. Problem is they are not connect to the freaking truck! I used image points and physics behavior for the revolute points. See, It works when I don't have scrollTo enabled. Its perfect until you go out the side of the screen. So I created a separate object and set scrollto to that. same result. only way for truck to work right is to abandon scrollto and try it manually.

    Any thoughts? HELP!?

  • no i can do it in the editor. When my games are running I need to access projectName so I can send analytics info like

    system.onStartLayout:action->send($projectName&" v"&projectVersion&" started.")

    or

    system.onEndLayout:action->send($projectName&" v"&projectVersion&" exited.")

    The manual has projectVersion but not name...and projectVersion is available in the System Plugin but not projectName? Intentional for some reason?

  • i see system.projectVersion....but where is project name? At the moment i create a separate global and set it to the same name manually. but i forget on new projects and the wrong name gets past into my extended analytic's . its a hassle. so how can i access system.projectName?

  • yes, also as intended. You are escorting, so you are bound to a certain distance to your ship. So you have to use priorities and time management on the fighting/collecting LOL. I think i'll just add a random time to them so they come and go instead of staying on the screen until they are off then destroyed.

    Anyone got their ship ship fully upgraded? All green LEDs and Level 6 weapon? I did it finally last night and its totally insane!!! You feel like a god...at least for a few minutes until they kill you

  • Designed that way. you need it when you get past the blue gas giant. Noone has finished it yet.

    I just put out version 0.9.1-RC1 -> even more bug fixes, dropped total objects by 688, and final performance tweaks. It's playing quite well now on the iPads - iPhone is just to weak though. too small a screen also.

  • it's been up for a week now and i have 4 other devs that posted some feedback? please check it out and answer the quick few questions. i need to know if i should just drop it and move to the next project.

  • it was (my capx) is a timer that counts and saves. Number to string and back. He's going to have to post his so we can see whats going on.

  • They are both pedals and wheel actually racing items. I blew them up and went 300 dpi. Then i used the pen tool to get the patterns. chopped it in half and just built 1 side of each pedal and 1 side of the steering wheel. Then mirror and group. From there I can apply my layer styles on each component. So they started as real but textures everything are changed.

  • I welcome input. Yes they are not vectors. I use Photoshop and its a hobby. When brought down to size for play, you can not tell at all. An i don't want to really do packages because most developers here don't have financing LOL but need some art. So i don't mind making stuff for my games with the intent of making it available to all for a very small price.
