Great Interview, thanks so much Laura. Please keep this up, i'm discovering fellow Construct-ors i haven't known before and it's great to show off all the cool things that are being done with the engine! :)
Thanks for the effort, i don‘t think this was wasted time, you‘re threading new ground after all so hopefully it will lead to a good solution down the line but i'm an optimist :) One step after the other.
Perhaps, when you got a bit of time and are curious as well, it would be interesting to see if the Epic Games Store overlays work with Webview? Might be a good leverage against Valve :P
Looks very neat, congrats! I would suggest to reserve its own URL for the Arcade like constructarcade.com or whatever. That way it will be easier to find for people who just want to play games and not develop them and also be less confusing :)
If i understand correctly, that's kind of the Flash/Director (if anyone remembers that) thing where you can attach scripts to keyframes, right?
EDIT: And as always: THANK YOU!!!
No, i mean the Timeline feature they just announced :D
I've been waiting for the timeline feature all my life! Hope we all get it to being stable soon :D Edit: Instead of a Forum post it might be even worthy a blog post for easier future reference maybe? :)
New Search Bar is awesome, thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! Sorry i have to say this but i'd really suggest testing the animation editor more thoroughly before releases. It seems it circles around the same four-five bugs ever since it came into existence (crop tool crashes, image points not saving position, apply to all animations not functioning correctly, etc.). I came into the habit of saving my project each time before opening up the editor. Thanks for all your hard work though, much appreciated.
Very cool congrats ^^ A version for the Mac App Store also planned? :D
Thanks for the quick fixes ;) The animation editor seems to be suffering from similiar bugs frequently, maybe it would be a good idea to give it like a day of "stress testing" or something? But either way, always cool to see the speed of development by you guys!
