Notes

The Chrome 86 release this week was supposed to enable the local file/folder saves by default, but to our surprise, this release also completely redesigned the underlying feature for file system access. This meant we had to update a lot of code to get it to re-enable the feature in Construct. We've done this for a beta release to make sure the feature comes back, and also get further testing to ensure our updated code works properly, before deciding whether we back-port that to the stable release. We also fixed a related issue that was just discovered with saving local folder projects.

Other than that, there's also now support for mesh distortion on Tiled Backgrounds that made this release, so you can try the new feature there too!     I played Puzzle game on Construct 2, I entered 3 😔☹️😔 and opened the game 2 times. Now I want to open the game I can't.

    Message that Canvas is not installed. But i Canvas is installed.

    I can sell the game on Construct 2 Free.

    What price does Scirra charge to sell the game?

    I await reply.

      You probably installed a specific version of Construct 3, so it always opens an old version. Install the latest version at editor.construct.net or editor.construct.net/beta to keep it up to date.

      • i cant in broswers version no button to download cs3 ("menu"-"Install Construct 3").

        thank you for your work :), I'm very happy with the updated construct 3 especially the "tween" behaviors :) the "default theme" looks amazing, I really like :) and also "updating Sprite Fonts" when letters appear one by one ("typewriter text"), it was really needed:) now i don't need addons:)

        It would be super to see behavior "random value" which does value without repeat value:)

    I'm still learning how to use it, but I can already imagine the cool visual effects some users will create with it!

    On a side note, do you guys have plans on bringing the scene graph feature to Tilemap objects?

  • Argh! Chrome auto update is now forcing me to bring my project from construct stable to construct beta! Thanks for the swift work on the patch :)
