    This is the CLOSED bug reporting section and therefore absolutely the wrong place to make such a post.

    If you are requesting help, then please make a full and detailed post in the 'How Do I' section.

    If you are trying to report an actual bug in the C2 software then make a new post in the 'Bug' section, ensuring you follow ALL of the Bug Reporting Requiremtnts.

  • When I click to translate tutorial, choose the language and click in Next button, then the website redirects to https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/top

    Why?

    Adding and editing of the Tutorial section has been temporarily disabled due to an intense spam attack over the last few days.

    Tom will re-enable as soon as he is able.

  • AFAIA this functionality is only applicable when Previewing.

  • I am a new on construct2. I have attached my simple game. here the bird flies on the mouse click.

    But as the flying animation starts, the game lags too much. The fps is 55-60 all the time.

    the lag can be observed on the parallax background.

    I dont know whether its fault of my GPU or i have written a buggy game...

    So, kindly help me please.

    Please remove non-standard behavior by Zed2100 or users may not be able to help.

    I'd also recommend testing with the latest release as many bugs have been fixed since the version you are using.

    I have sent a message to — (in french language). So normaly the number of outbox was 1 but after a few moment the messsage disapears completely !

    My question is : if — delete the message, it will be deleted from my User Control Panel also ?

  • I want to make a smear effect like they show in this video

    at around 6:10. but I don't know how to make it so it doesn't clear the last frame.

    I did this in a html game by just removing the canvas(it did that smearing effect)....but if I try to get rid of the canvas in construct it just goes black(it doesn't do that smearing)....

  • You could try 'File/Preferences/Reset dialogs'.

    If that doesn't work, have you tried a complete reinstallation of C2, maybe using the latest beta?

    This is unlikely to be related to C2 or this section would be inundated with reports.

    Have you recently had a GPU, AV or OS update?

    What is your system setup - OS/GPU?

    What AV do you use?

    If you reinstall r227 Stable does it still crash?

  • No I did not. Thank you for the quick response. I just started using Construct 2 last night and had completely overlooked the project folder. However I did find a work around by creating a text box and setting it to invisible till conditions were met all in one layout that seems to work nicely. Again thank you for you help with this though that is great information for me to remember int he future.

  • Not a bug - actually quite a useful feature.

    Items remain in the Outbox until the recipient(s) has/have read them.

    In these cases, the recipient(s) have NOT read your PMs.

  • Just to confirm this is still the case using R231 and today's release of NW.js v0.16.0 (Chromium 52).
