    If not, how hard would it be to change them so they can be used in C3?

    No - C2 addons cannot be used in C3.

    This C3 SDK section has the info you'll need to convert from C2 to C3.

    You can have third-part Construct 2 add-ons in Construct 3 by asking their authors to port them using our SDK.

    Otherwise, check the Exchange Addon or this dedicated forum (and this topic) to see if a port already exists.

    Finally you can try this beta converter.

    Once you have a Construct 3 version of the add-on, you can install it using the add-ons manager.

  • Hi. I tried to load an old project in C2 but I cant open it cause the plugin is missing and not available for download anymore. Is it possible to remove this dependency somehow to open it without the plugin?

    Firstly, just ask if anyone still has the plugin. What plugin are you missing?

    Secondly, it is possible to remove an addon dependency, but it requires you to understand a bit about XML.

    You would need to search and remove all references to the addon from the .caproj and the Event sheets etc.

  • In my layout i have a part where the game restarts then sets the main charachters position to where i need it but... It just wont fricking work!! I tried for hours but nothing. I originally had a button that does it then tried to have a sprite with the action happening by collision but nothing work. Please help!!! I desperatly need help with this!!

  • I saw that the sub screen is up for C3. I purchased C2 in the period between the start of beta and now and I believe we are supposed to get a year of C3 for free. I was wondering how we go about claiming that or is it still too early ?

  • As the TextBox object is a Form object it supports CSS so it may be possible to do something with css.

    Probably easier to create your own TextBox and arrows as sprites so you have better control. Form objects have a few limitations.

    Why would you want to remove the watermark from software that you can't possibly have a license for yet?

    I would expect the watermark to be automatically removed when exported from a valid licensed version.

    This section is for completed addons. Your post is obviously not an addon, but a question.

  • The problem with this bug report is that it includes non-standard plugins, so will likely not be investigated.

    This is a stipulation in the Bug Report Requirements.

    Please don't bump your own thread after less than an hour.

    Users come from many different time zones so getting a response sometimes takes a while. It is also the weekend.
