  • Make sure your installation is clean.

    Uninstall C2 and reboot.

    Remove any remaining folder left after reboot for C2 (note: if you wish to keep anything, just move to a different location).

    Install either latest Stable of latest beta.

    Does it still crash?

  • You're asking a lot of questions about a recently introduced feature.

    Why not just prototype a few scenarios. That way, you'll be able to both provide yourself and the rest of us with the answers.

    How is it when you try with some of the built-in examples?   Do they work OK for you?

    What browsers are you testing with?

    Have you recently updated your browsers?

    Have you recently updated your graphic driver?

    You really need to provide much more information if you want people to help you more effectively.

    Ashley always recommends to test on all browsers. If it appears correct in say FireFox, then it's more than likely a bug in Chrome, or an addon to Chrome that is causing it.

    See if there is a Chrome update.

    What you are seeing is nothing to do with the .capx. It looks like a GPU driver bug, or even possibly a corrupt installation of C2. It's hard to say.

    What I can say is that those lines don't appear on my system, and certainly don't exist in the .capx.

    Look at the post above yours from the creator - he no longer has that code, which more than likely wouldn't have worked anyway due to later changes in the CC engine.

  • I would say the first thing to do is stop trying to compare CC with C2. They are not the same program.

    C2 is a new program that is still in development. Like every other development environment - just deal with what tools you have. I'm sure Ashley will enhance and add more features to C2 when he has the chance.

  • You could also avoid such problems by doing Ashley's excellent platform tutorial.

  • If you have a license, then the latest build supports IAP. Check-out the release notes, as there is very little detail yet regarding it.

    I don't use chrome. If possible, can you post a screen-grab, so I can see what you mean?

    In the game, there is only one TiledBackground that covers the whole play area. It's the wood effect background, and isn't even tiled, so I'm at a loss to understand what you are seeing.

    As has often been stated, how would should a proposal benefit the majority of users? Provide a reasoned argument that outlines the benefits that we users can expect from such a change.

    If it's only of benefit to you then why should they bother?

  • I've put it in the arcade, just because I wanted to test the Arcade :)

    BTW, it literally took about half an hour to convert. Ridiculously easy. Although I did use Families in the first iteration, which makes it even easier to create.
