  • I'm looking for a capx or some other example of a zelda style game in Construct 2 -- looking for the techniques basically for movement, collsion, tiles, etc.

  • My first test game in construct 2 - yes it's lame, but it's MY lame :)

    Shooter

  • I'm up and running now! Got the license. How do I get the nice little early adopter badge for my avatar?

  • Is there a site that collects all the "open source" demo games that are being created? Having a repository somewhere would be awesome.

  • I would recommend TapJS TapJS

  • I wonder, what kind of feedback to you guys need in order to make a better app? Just wishlists doesn't seem all that useful. Like are there specific areas you are focusing on that you wish you had more feedback on? Or perhaps you want to know among 10 things which one the community wants more? Stuff like that.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Sounds like a great task for a plugin :) I'm really excited to be digging around Construct, and the fact that you can make extensions using javascript is a great bonus. I used to write extensions for Dreamweaver years ago, and I can totally see adding all kinds of cool things. Is there a list of top wanted plugins?

  • Thanks for the quick responses everyone! I see paypal has charged my bank account (probably why its an eCheque vs if I had had $ directly in paypal) and I'll check back again tomorrow.

  • I purchased an early adopter license today, any idea how long before I get an email with the license code or file?

  • Perhaps having a plugin "lint" page that does what the minified would do and highlight potential problems might be helpful? Folks might paste their plugin code and run "lint" and it highlights parts of the code that could be problems. Just my 2 cents.

  • I found it from this twitter post: twitter.com

  • Hi all. I'm Andrew Wooldridge (@triptych on twitter) and I work as a webdev at Yahoo! I've been a longstanding fan of web-based games and I've written a number of HTML5-based game engines using YUI3. I really want to push the envelope with HTML5-based games that are not only fun to play but evoke emotion and help create something unique to the web. You can find me all over the place if you look hard enough, and I hope to contribute here to some significant degree. I'm excited about the ability to create js based plugins, so I may be contributing in that area as well.

  • You know if you simply made the aliens turn a bit transparent and slowly fade while rotating slowly, you could have a pretty convincing death anim without any additional graphics.

  • Looks great! Impressed that this engine can get you so far even just starting out. Really like the graphic style.
