Tom's Forum Posts

  • Hi Megatronix,<div>

    </div><div>All the site, CSS/Layout/Design/Code (except forum) is 100% written by us and not a template <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div><div>

</div><div>In regards to colouring we did consult some long term users and we all did eventually settle on this scheme and design.</div><div>

</div><div>I agree with you on smaller font, I like the font size in the topics, but out of it on the viewing forums pages the font is too big.  I'm going to change that soon.</div>

  • Hi guys, sorry you're having problems, I'll be on it first thing tonight.  Keep an eye on this thread for updates.  I'll also email you if I have to reset your password.<div>

</div><div>Thank's for your patience, I understand this can be frustrating!</div>

  • Thanks abhilash, good spot, I'll add it to the list.

  • I've had a look in the future releases and current release of this forum and unfortunately you can't mark as read on a per forum basis.  I'll add it to my list and see if I can mod it myself as some point (but it's quite far down the list I'm afraid!)<div>

</div><div>Bit confused what you mean about subject, edit post/post options etc, one of those buttons will have an edit link which should allow you to edit everything <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div><div>

</div><div>Thank you for your comments, really appreciate them!  This new site is a huge improvement, it's currently a little rough around the edges and I'll be working hard to smooth things out over the coming week.  Glad you are enjoying it!  Welcome to all suggestions and comments.</div>

  • Post options > edit post, this will allow you to edit topic name.<div>

  • It works on your registered email address, so whatever email address you have with your account on here, use that to register on gravatar.  This site then hashes your email address, sends it to gravatar and they return your avatar!  It's very clever and very useful once it's set up.

  • Today's posts can be found here:<div>

</div><div>(Click new posts in top menu).  You can adjust the range to show posts from yesterday, last few days, and it defaults to new posts since your last visit.</div><div>

</div><div>Your gravatar is showing for me in the blog comment, I'll look into it though.</div><div>

</div><div>I agree about Construct Classic needing more exposure, making it easier to find.  I'll think about it and hopefully get it changed soon.</div>

  • You can change you Avatar at gravatar.com, sign in there and change it.  I'll write a short post on why we chose gravatar tonight, and make it easier for people to see how to change it.

  • I've heard great things about OCZ SSD's, good choice!

  • Currently no, sorry.  Construct 2 at the moment exports to HTML5, there will be additional exporters in the future, but SWF is one that is likely not going to be implemented as we think it will be overtaken by HTML5 in the future.<div>

  • Thanks Chris, glad you like it!  Thanks also for the spelling error, it's fixed now.<div>

</div><div>We won't be adding many more features on the site for a little while, all my time will be spent making sure what we currently have is working really well before moving on.</div>
