  • We're not sure if we're able to offer certification that means anything at the moment.

We'd want to make sure it's good quality and has actual value which takes time to design, and time to run and manage.

  • We're launching a new educational product soon for state recognised educational institutes (schools, colleges, universities etc). It will be a subscription of $250 USD per year that allows these institutes to install Construct 2 on as many computers on their premises as they would like.

We're going to be adding a new section on our website soon this week. What would be really really great is if we could get current teachers and educators to provide case studies for our website.

If you are interested and happy to do this, please email me on tomzra@scirra.com with your school name, country the school is in and how you currently use Construct 2 and we can go from there!

Case studies ideally would consist of a few hundred words written by us based on answers to questions you provide us. It would be awesome if we could get photos of students using Construct 2 as well, but we understand this is not always possible.

If anyone is able to do this for us, we would be highly appreciative and would be happy to make a small donation to a charity of your choice in return.

We're happy to hear from people who just use the free edition in lessons as well!

  • This is now fixed.

Badges for translations and tutorials are now issued on "Visitors" which is a count of unique IP addresses.

The two tutorials with artifically inflated page views have been reset.

Because we're changing the way these badges are awarded, some of you might lose a few badges but you'll get them back I'm sure if you wait a little to get your unique visitor counts up.

Unique visitor counts were also only being recorded over the last few weeks or so, so if your tutorial is old I'm afraid it might not represent the true figure, again though if you wait I'm sure all the tutorials that deserve the badges will eventually receive them.

  • Just a quick note, the view count changing will be completed shortly, but wont be uploaded for a little while so please bear with me.

  • The amount of views the articles receives is an effective DDOS on our server which is possibly why it's been slower and less responsive recently.

There's a small group of IP's which are the culprits, which I've banned from our server and have currently no intention of unbanning.

The user in question has not accessed our website as far as we can tell with any of the IPs in the DDos. We'll be monitoring the situation though.

I'm also currently working to change the article view count to be based on unique IP address views which should stop similar situations in the future. Please bear with me.
