2 years+ of experience with Construct 3 (prog & GD).

Extensive previous knowledge of coding (C#, Java, HTML, Javascript).

Took part in multiple game jams & worked on several games (my itch.io: https://robertonascimento.itch.io/)

Currently working on 2 games. One of them being my personal project (1+ years on dev): https://robertonascimento.itch.io/project-cybergladiator).

Looking for a way to earn income to support my current personal project. Payment proportional to my work is accepted since I'm the very kind of person who tends to pull multiple all-nighters while working on games.

Extremely perfectionist with my coding, trying to always keep it as clean & optimized as possible.

No true. There have been plenty of examples posted to the forums and in the tutorial section on how to create scrollbars.

Sorry, I suppose I wasn't clear enough: I meant actual scrollbars, not gimmicky ones full of limitations such as layer ordering (can't have anything above/behind it on the same area), UI screen size & thick borders. I dare you to show me one as versatile as this one... Searched every single kind of construct-related online forum for this and found none, hence why I had to figure out on my own... And damn did it take quite some time to come up with this for my game.

I'd like to know how to I make a separate sprite mask for enemies/player characters to appear to be burning. Like an overlay with various looping fire embers that only show accross the character's sprite.

eg.: when an enemy catches on fire on Enter the Gungeon.

I know how to attach it and such; just need to know which effect/blend mode to use in both sprites to make it look right.

Oh yeah, thanks for the suggestion. But already knew about this way.

The pick condition, sadly only works for the tilemaps themselves, and not the tiles.

You see, the problem is: If there's a taller object (like the boss, for example), it'll probably surpass the lower walls height and get blocked by upperwalls in the head. That's why I went for the supposedly cleaner solution - to change the character's layer itself, so it'll always be in the foreground whenever it's nearest to a lower wall object.
