    I was using Stencyl for a long time, between alpha, beta and official release, so, I can say, Stencyl is much inferior than C2...

    C2 only need a RPG behavior and a better and complete new Z ordering menu to overcome Stencyl in all the ways..

  • Or, make a invisible object, pin it to the player, and check the conditionals:

    Created object is not overlapping the invisible object > spawn;

    Next month I'll make the climbing a rope and ledge, and then, walking on stairs.

    Did you remember that Mario's typing game?

    I loved that game, playing it like 20 years ago.

    So, I'm thinking about make a game like that, where you need to type words to dodge the obstacles, and go ahead the stage.

    What do you think about? Did you saw any game in the exactly same style?

    Update: 2012/02/19 - Improved with more conditionals and polish the movements;

  • I ignore it when happen, this is an unknown bug, and, if I remember right, Ashley posted a topic talking about it and how hard will be to detect the origin of this bug.

  • This is not your fault, but when I click the mouse and keep it, the character keep walking in the last direction, without changing his direction.

    To workaround this issue (caused by chrome) you'll need many conditionals and detectors. =\</p>

  • I can stand on that wall. Logically I should slide down a diagonal wall depending upon how steep it is.

    This is not a logic problem, but I'm brainstorming around this issue have 3 weeks to figure out a workaround.

    This could be a very complicated feature to add to the platform behavior itself - it's already one of the most complex behaviors, and it currently does not care what it is standing on. For example, you could also stand on a single pixel, so by the same rule you can land on a very steep slope. I'll see if it's straightforward to fix the Platform behavior to drop down in this case, but it might not be, so it would be best to work around this with events or careful level design for the time being.

    What the difference between each other? one is with 70 colors and the second is with 8 colors.
