  • For Intel XDK, these ads have worked like a charm for me,

  • Problem Description

    1. Click on View

    2. Click on Snap to Grid

    3. Adjust Snap distances from 32 to 16 on both the x and y axis.

    4. Close View menu. Try to snap an object and discover it isn't working properly.

    5. Open view menu again and discover that it's defaulted back to 32 pixel snap distance instead of 16.

Snap distances in the view menu keep reverting back to default after closing the menu (whether I press Enter after setting snap distances or just click out of the menu by clicking away, it still sometimes takes multiple times to set the distance properly.

  • Just wondering if anyone has made a popular game like Color Switch with construct 2.

I was Surprised to see that Color Switch has over 80 million downloads worldwide...

I know there are a lot of great game creation software engines out there (Buildbox created Color Switch), but I like the editor in C2 very much..

Just wondering if there have been any great mobile apps created with it.

  • ^ This is rediculous, it DOES matter if you use Unity, C#, Stencyl, or BuildBox, etc. You've Been Brainwashed!!!

Only a fool would make a statement like this. C2 has terrible limitations that make it almost impossible to export anything worthy onto Mobile.

The process itself is a nightmarish headache!!!

I just got BuildBox and it's a million times better as far as exporting goes, with REAL NATIVE EXPORT!

Be careful what you say to others, they just might believe you..

  • ^ Great Post, i would like to see too!

Maybe submit a simple bug report to Ashley

Sounds like a serious, recurring issue with this software..

I tried multiplayer early on but experienced lag with it, so much that it wouldn't work for my game, so I abandoned it and waited for a good demo that would really show its capabilities...

  • So what was the outcome of your little experiment? Did it work or did you eventually get a Mac ?

  • Is there a known issue/bug with In App Browser Object in Intel XDK? It is non-functional with C2 227 (latest) and Intel XDK 3240 (latest) versions

  • Fengist So what's the status on In App Purchases? If Ashley assumes we don't care about it, does anything really work as it should?

  • Browser object is still not working in Intel XDK 3240 (newest version). Has anyone else got it working???

  • Great question, I was just wondering the same thing for Android, which IAP Plugin are we supposed to currently use? Does anyone know?

Thanks, great info!!! Maybe I'll give it a try. )))))

    Hope it works...
