    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open on Android Device (I am Using the very Popular Galaxy S3)

    2. Tap "Save Game" to Save.

    3. Tap "Load Game" to Load.

    Observed result:

Crashes with Pop-Up Message in Both Instances.

    Expected result:

    To Not Crash...

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open .capx

    2. Save Game by pressing "S" key.

    3. Load Game by pressing "L" key.

    Observed result:

    Crashes with pop-up message.

    Expected result:

Will load game no matter what timer function is currently running. I have also experienced a similar glitch with some Pin objects in r142. I will see if I can reproduce that one too.

  • This is happening to me too! Thank you for posting this...hope it gets resolved soon...

  • I am using the latest build (r141)

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open your own Touch - Zooming.capx and see if it works...it didn't work for me on 3 different browsers on my mobile device.

    2. Try any of the others like Touch.capx or Touch - Rotate.capx...none of them seem to work

    3.

  • Yes, I was testing it for lowest common denominator to release it for Android first and then for iOS. I figure there are millions of people that have galaxy S3's right now so I should test it on that. And since most people keep their stock browsers is there a smart way to work around this?? I just want it to work for people...that's all. :)

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Run the Project on a Mobile Device.

    2. Drag Construct Logo Around in a Circle.

    3. Notice the screen loses the touch input after a few seconds.

    Observed result:

Even thought the "Construct2Logo" has the Drag/Drop Behavior, it loses touch and therefore stops dragging after a few seconds...perhaps during every garbage collection cycle.

    Expected result:

I expect the behavior to keep working even thought there is a garbage collection running...It should continue to register my touch input on the screen and therefore the object should continue to follow my finger around even if it needs to pause for a second.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes/no

    Operating system & service pack:

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Understood.

    Thanks for checking anyway.

  • I played your game...it was really cool.

I only have one small suggestion to make it even better...

Try putting the left/right arrows on one side(left).

And put the shoot/jump buttons on the others side(right).

This will make it easier to control, and even more fun to play.

Great job! I love the graphics and sounds! Really cool. :D

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Run on a Mobile Device (I used a Galaxy S3 with WebGL enabled).

    2. Press GO!

    3. Use the Thrust Joystick to move around and press the red Missile Button rapidly to blow up asteroids...after a few seconds the game will pause and you will lose control of your ship because the drag drop sprite stops dragging... :(

    Observed result:

After a few explosions the "thrust joystick" (i.e. MoveStick) stops dragging with the users finger. In fact, every button stops working until you physically lift your fingers from the screen and initiate another touch. Then it starts working again. This is enough to make some users stop playing, unfortunately...

    Expected result:

Even though the game slows down because I have placed many asteroids on the screen(there won't be this many in the actual game), the "movestick" sprite should continue to drag with your finger since the 'drag/drop' function is still enabled. And the other buttons should still work too.

    Browsers affected:

(I am using the stock browsers on both my android phones and on my iPad because that is what I believe most people will be using on their own devices.)

    Chrome: see above.

    Firefox: see above.

    Internet Explorer: see above.

    Operating system & service pack:

Windows 7 (but mostly I'm running my game on Android 4.0+)

    (Android 4.1.2 to be exact)

    Construct 2 version:

    Release 139 (64-bit)

Note: If the game is too slow just decrease the number of asteroids that spawn at the start. It's now set to 500, but if it's unplayable just decrease it to 250 or 300 or something like that. Thanks A Million!!!!!!
