  • Hi guys been a long long time since i used C2 (probs in the R100 odd times) and alot has changes. Thinking of making a game but getting a little stumped. Im in need of a way to make an object spawn from a random location (outside of window), at a random time and to move across the screen. Any pointers? Cheers

    Ah ... Those days :D , Such a long time ... So , Get a windows emulator and run C2 on your nexus 7 , it should work ...

    One cannot simply run windows on an android device. The little ARM processors cannot handle x86. Win 95 is possible but 18 years out of date

  • Hello, just wondering if its possible to swype left or right on a touch device from one layout to another? If anyone knows a way or if this isnt possible could you let me know? Cheers

  • Should run fine, im up tp about 40 layouts and its still running perfectly.. just getting a bit messy on free version as no subfolders lol

  • Cannot wait for the build service.. tried the launcher and it rocks. Is there any dates set for release yet ludei?

  • Phonegap build means you will need to sign the apk and do not have proper function of back button, or you can compile it in eclipse with phonegap and sign it on export and also map the back button or more simply disable it.

    Ashley yeah i understand that you dont support with eclipse fully yet but i only really need to add 2 different functions which wont be to hard in eclipse as the app is only very basic - brilliantly simple. Ive been using andromo but i want a more personal app so construct 2 is the way forward!

  • Hi guys, new to the construct 2 world and need some help. i have designed an app using this great software but have hit a bump. From what ive read phpnegap is the best build type at the mo for android apps and i have used the online builder but would prefer to use eclipse and phone gap for a more stable build, and to control the use of the back button and to ad admob ads.

    The problem im facing is i dont know where to put the js files, image folder and logo. Following the helloworld tut on phonegap i can wotkput that the html file goes in assets/www subfolder on eclipse but from there i am stuck. If anyone could point me in the right directipn it would be much appretiated, and once figured i will write a tutorial tp help others in the future.
