  • - It doesn't take very long at all. But since we have so many requests, Robert isn't replying if everything is OK with your paperwork. He'll only have time to respond if there's an issue. But if everything is OK, he schedules your payment right away. I suppose everything went smoothly with yours, because our records show your payment was sent yesterday.

Ah!! I see now. Yep, nice doing business with you. I will be releasing more titles with you soon.

One more question.. Everytime I publish a game, do I have to email that Robert guy?

  • FGLmatt - How long does it take for you guys to process the mobile platform agreement that we have to fill out before we get paid? I never really got a reply back from that Robert dude.

I'm thinking about selling both the Stencyl and Construct 2 source on CodeCanyon and various other source code sites. If you're interested in the source code, then let me know.. I might can make a deal with you, before I do sell it.. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green">

Aww man.. I wish you had a free CAPX file haha. I was working on something like this a while ago but I was still new to C2 and hadn't figured out how to compare old and new time values. Although these apps are really simple and based on super simple variables and timers, the overall global time/local time got me stuck.. Any interest in sharing your method? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

    Don't worry when I put the source on CodeCanyon, it won't be expensive <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

    Here's a hint... Webstorage.. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green">

  • You won't be able to use effects in CocoonJS -- it doesn't handle WebGL. You might get what you are looking for by using Ejecta for iOS or Crosswalk for Android.

As far as the low framerate goes, I recommend spending some time in the debugger. Things will run WAY faster in the native Safari or Chrome browser on a device then they will in a webview. In order to solve my framerate problems, I worked on my desktop and tried to see which Construct 2 groups were taking the most CPU time. I took one simulation from 1-2 FPS all the way to 60 FPS in CocoonJS and Ejecta on the iPad using this technique. It took a lot of debugging to find and fix the CPU-hogging functions, but it was worth it.

Actually CocoonJS will be supporting WebGL..

  • I've included a template you can use to make your game with... It will scale to all sorts of screens.

Draw everything inside the blue area..

  • Yeah I knew it works at that time, it just doesn't work well with Clay.io

  • Thanks, i installed, but i can't see any difference between that update and the plugin that was already on the editor... Am i doing something wrong? Oo

    Edit:

GitHub is so confusing... I donwloaded the right files now, let's test!

Let me know if it works for you... If it does, then I might give CocoonJS another chance..

  • Hi there!

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that Ludei is working in an update in the CocoonJS Plugin to implement the new features, like Facebook, Google Play Games, etc.

    Anyone knows something about that?

I really want this update, i want to put a leaderboard in my android game and can't figure how... I even tested the Clay.io plugin, but it really doesn't seen to work fine with CocoonJS.

    https://github.com/ludei/Construct-2-plugin/pull/1/files

You can test it yourself, but I heard from others it's not working for them..

Just those fine prints that really got me, but I'll give it a shot. How long does it take to get your money?
