  • I've noticed we have the Windows Phone object. However when I export to the universal 8.1 windows, the windows phone behaviours (like triggered event on back button) do not work. I suppose that is made only for export for Windows Phone 8 and not as an universal windows 8.1 app?

  • Thanks, I did not see that. Sorry.

    Description of Capx

The .capx does not do anything, just open it and preview it on Google Chrome or export as universal Windows 8.1 and preview on the phone.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • place a 9-patch object with default settings in your project
    • set the opacity to 50

    Observed Result

Notice how the lines that separate the margin from the center do not follow the set opacity.

    Expected Result

I expect the object to have all it's elements' opacity the same.

  • Flapping Santa

Santa Clause made a big mess in the factory and there are presents all over the place. The fact that he’s as fat as ever isn’t helping his reindeer either.

It’s Christmas Eve and Santa needs to start delivering gifts for all the boys and girls out there. Help Santa dodge presents so that he can escape the factory and bring joy to children all over the world.

  • That's not a problem on your side. The engine crops everything if you import it as an animation strip.

  • I would try exporting the movie as frames and making a sprite with repeating animation. This way you have some control over it too (slow down, speed up)

  • Don't import sprite sheets. Instead import each animation frame separately.

You can also use the image origin but i'm pretty sure that's more complicated.

  • I'm looking forward to some performance numbers here if anyone tests it ^^

  • On layout start for level 2 remove the sine behavior from your sprites, or disable it.

  • Objects are loaded layout by layout. Layout 1 is not affected by what you have in layout2.

The real question is why exactly do you need big images?

  • I would suggest the trail that is spawned is assigned the Fade behavior so that it fades by itself and you'll have less events.

  • You can export with Node webkit option and it will work in Windows 7...hopefully without bugs

  • A quick addition: trim.
