  • I'd like my phone orientation to be a 180 landscape (flipped) to use wired headphones because blutooth has major lag (android's fault, not constructs). Wired headphones means the headphone jack is in the worst place to also be pressing on screen buttons when playing. This is true for most android phone models, and on older iPhones -bottom left when held in portrait, bottom right when held in landscape.

Many android games support a 180 landscape mode, but I've not found a way to do this with construct, except for just selecting "any" orientation instead of landscape, then turning through portrait into 180 flipped -which seems like a bad experience for the player and also feels disorienting when the app starts. Any advice would be a great help. Thanks, -Huwans

  • Here is a link to the old forum that Tokinsom made. It has some useful info, although it does not accept new posts, making it a dead thread.

  • Just wanted to reach out and say hello to anyone else that has purchased the caverunner game kit from the scirra store. The old forum topic is too old to post new replies, so let's hang out here.

If u have the kit and never finished your metroidvania, then why not get back to it? This is also a good place to find others for help and collaboration. Since we all purchased the Caverunner Game Kit we can share our projects (through private methods outside of the forum).

I currently have a heavily modded and re-skinned Android version I've been working on. The higher resolution, touch controls, movement, camera, sounds, and gfx have all been replaced. The time has come to build an entire new world full of rooms and corridors. If there is anyone out here that would like to assist in tilemapping this huge vania world, please let me know!

This is also a good place to post your completed projects that used the kit Super Gigadroid is one example of such a project:
