  • Hey everyone,

I have this object, "box", and another, "mask", and I want to verify how many boxes are overlapping the mask. How can I do that ?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You can use any Cordova publishing platform - including the Intel XDK - to get a smaller filesize on Android, but it will only run well on Android 5.0+, where the system webview has the necessary features. Crosswalk is basically a patch for Android 4.x devices.

Besides, if you want to export to another platform rather than Android (Windows Phone, iOS etc.), you don't have this problem

  • Hey everyone,

It's been a while since it was announced that Construct team is developing the third version of the program(the announcement was in January, and we are heading for August), and this development has left me very anxious.

So, how's it going C3 development? Do you intend to give us information about the project's progress, even if it is in extreme alpha?

Questions like, which cross-platform library you'll use to develop the new IDE, have been resolved?

(please, take off my anxiety )

  • Hey folks o/

My name is Ricardo Gomes, i'm game developer since my 13 years(i guess). In 2009 i heard about Scirra Construct, now the Classic, and for the first time i've created a game without background knowledge.

Well, now i have 19 years old, and I am college student of Information Systems course here in Brazil ..

Even coding, the Construct is a very cool tool (seriously, it seems magical), and i've create some games using it..

My recent game is called protect me and i want to launch this game for mobile devices soon(it's a really cool game too, you can play on Arcade)..

    That's all folks

  • Hey everyone,

I'm developing a game for mobile devices, and i need a sound designer to compose the music and sound effects for my game. Unfortunately I can not guarantee money .. But if the game has some profit in mobile stores, I'll pay for the service.

If you are interested in helping a developer to make a nice game with a awesome music and want to have your work being published in the outside world (and who knows, get money for it), I guarantee it will be a good opportunity

Ahh, you can play my game on Scirra Arcade. It's called protect me

    That's all folks

  • No, didn't encounter any bugs. Controls were a bit iffy, but then again the screen size suggested it would launch for for the mobile platform and not the desktop.

Yep, this is a alpha version of a upcoming mobile game.. if you "tap" on screen, the ship moves towards this position..(for now, I'm looking for a good way to control via touch)..

    Thank you for feedback

  • thank you

Currently, i'm working with some friends on improvements in the audio(effects and music), graphics(we're redrawing all that stuff, to make the graphics more like a child painting) and fixing some bugs. Very soon we'll launch a new version on Arcade..

You found any kind of bug ?

  • Some images of a game that i've working, protect me :

  • Hey everyone,

I'm gomez, and this week i launched in the Scirra Arcade a game that I have worked for some time. It's called "protect me" and has a very simple gameplay. The goal here is survive as much as possible without any meteor reaches Earth. The idea is to capture the player with the simple gameplay and self-challenge.

The game can be played in Scirra Arcade through the link: scirra.com/arcade/shooting-games/protect-me-125

I decided launch the first version of my game on Arcade to collect feedback from players and developers. So I would be very happy if you willing minutes to play my game and post down here what you think

  • I love this question. My opinion. Meh to all such platforms.

I think Construct 3 should be written in HTML5/JS.

That way for Win/Lin/Mac we can get a NodeWebKit export.

And for those who like punishment can use a Crosswalk version for Android.

this sounds great, but the construct would lose performance.

I understand that there are few users and a high cost to maintain a linux or mac version, but it would be very interesting to see Construct on other platforms, since there are few Linux tools for creating games (I only know the StencylWorks). What could be done was change the code Construct to be more platform independent, "Windowsless" (like GIMP and GTK). It would be really interesting.

Edit: Could be done at least a version for Ubuntu Linux, which has the largest share of "linux market" so to speak.

  • The Construct is a great tool that compiles to a wide variety of platforms, but only have a windows version. Why there is no version for linux?, There are a lot of developers would use in their games
