  I would like to allow my users to CHOOSE their own character image.

  How do I allow a user to LOAD a custom image into a sprite during runtime?

  Example:

  User_Sprite has a default image.

  A user can LOAD their own image, or graphic, avatar, etc. into this User_Sprite

  and play the game using their own custom image?

  PLEASE SHARE:

  Declare your variable in the PARENT Webpage: Anything like this works

  var my_var = 'hello world!';

  In Construct 2 of C3:

  Declare a Global Variable

  On Button Click, or any other Event

  Thank you very much for the help..

  I am not sure I understand the javascript code?

  On the PARENT web page, I have established a variable like this:

   var my_var = 'hello world!';

  My Construct game exists inside an iFrame within the PARENT webpage.

  With a button click inside my Construct game, I can read the variable

  as you can see in my screen shot below.

  I am just confused on how I can SET a Global Variable within my game

  with the variable value located on the PARENT webpage?

  I need to READ several variables that exist within the PARENT web page

  and SET Construct Global Variables with the values of the PARENT variables.

  What I confused about is how to SET a Construct Global Variable with the results from this function?

  I need update a Construct Global Variable with the value of the "my_var" variable from the parent

  web page?

  All the posts seem to assume a game has an iFrame within the game.
