  • For mobile, I'd use Scale Outer & Scale Inner. Resolution/WindowSize of 1280x720 for Landscape and 720x1280 for Portrait.

    That resolution will work almost anywhere.

  • Well... You just have to learn, that's the same for any task. The more you learn, the nearer you are to mastery and the better you are productively.

    Laziness can somehow be confused with complicatedness. Construct 3 is one of the most simple professional game engines ever made that simplified programming to visual editing.

    It's easy but not too easy, that's the reason you can still implement professional features because it has a balanced mix of professionalism and ease of use.

  • Rodrigo Bezzi I can't really tell without trying. Although, the Mobile Master Ads do have an option to change the Google Play Services version, which is the solution to the common conflict experienced by old Cordova plugins which aren't updated, like the Cocoon plugins. I assume that is the conflict you are talking about. Well, I think that is the case, since I noticed that vulnerability when I was still using Cocoon plugins.

    As a matter of fact, all the Cordova plugins in the Mobile Master Collection under the Construct Master Collection all have safety features to avoid the common Google Play Services version conflict. I made that feature with documentation after the breakout of that conflict where it was announced by PhoneGap themselves.

    At first it was an addon to add to the project to solve the conflict. But eventually, I've updated all the plugins to prevent the conflict in the first place, designed individually for each addon. And new addons were automatically added with conflict prevention. Including the Mobile Ads Collection.

    But still, only testing it will confirm.

    I did provide a small package of the addons, with only the 14 monetization addons included, for a cheaper price. This is to provide support for startups who can't afford the full collection. You can use this package for your testing.

  • Hi Nepeo. I'm not rushing or anything, this can wait and I saw that there are other Mobile Build concerns in need of more attention. Just wanted to know if this is all well and everyone there agreed for this to be released publicly to the SDK.

    The Construct Master Collection :: Release 5.6 has been released.

    The Mobile Build Improvements update.

    1. Mobile Facebook : Docs weren't properly updated to Release 4.3 even up to Release 5.5. This is fixed on this release, Release 5.6.
    2. Mobile Facebook : Documented method to support c3Runtime.
    3. Mobile Facebook : Improved the Priority Documentation.
    4. Mobile Master Collection: There is a new documentation note for Construct 2 Mobile Builds. This is to provide guidance on how to upgrade the Cordova CLI on their Construct 2 projects to the newer or latest version, like Construct 3's or even further.

    New Milestone

    New additions to the Construct Master Collection's To-Do list.

    Update the Mobile Facebook for new features. Especially for Facebook Stories which is quite popular in Facebook.

  • Cool addon Mikal. You implemented more features than the official Greenworks plugin by Construct Team. The original one wasn't usable, it's great that you have changed that and allowed real implementation for Steam games on Construct 3.

    I hope this encourages people to make Steam games on Construct 3 now.

  • Shouldn't it be better using a different IDE, suited for general apps instead of game apps?
