  • Hi lucid, are there any plans to add the "scene graph" ability (add child instead of Pin) to an SCML file in Construct 3? Thanks!

  • A small-ish request I figured I'd post here: would it be possible to add a "color" option to the Scml object, to uniformly tint it - like the Sprite object? Thank you.

You can use the SetColor effect on C3 and it will do exactly that. However, you need to make sure in Spriter that the collision box is set to envelope the whole sprite for all animations or it will only color what's inside the collision area.

  • lucid Brilliant! Thanks a lot!

  • Hi lucid, if there's any chance that we could get the option to remove a specific character map in an event, that would make me (and perhaps many others) very happy!

I absolutely love working with character maps in C3, but removing them all and re-appending the "active" ones is getting hard to do with many combinations.

    Cheers!

  • Oh! I missed that one. Sorry. Thanks a lot!

  • lucid Happy New Year! I found something weird in Construct 3. The pointX and pointY options are no longer available in the dropdown list when you try to use an SCML image point (please see image). The ones that were already in the code still work and you can copy an old event and change it, if you only change the name of the point in the quotation marks.

I'm using the addon 1-3-21. Thanks for your help!

  • Seriously, lucid, you're on fire my friend! Thank you so much to you and the whole team for your much-appreciated help! Happy Holidays to you and keep up the magic! ;)

  • lucid Seriously, thank you so very much for your continued efforts!! It's greatly appreciated!

  • Hi lucid, I think I found another bug/workaround with the C3 beta plugin. As you can see in this short video, if you "blend to start", the animations don't change in C3 runtime. But if you "play to start", it works fine.

    Thanks for your help! youtu.be/EhkF6LEXM-Y

  • Hi guys, sorry I'm late! Hehe! I can confirm that for me, r122 of C3 works very well with the unmodified Spriter plugin. I always use the "new" import method with the spritesheet and scon file, not the drag-n-drop zip file method. Of course, I'm still using the C2 runtime. Thanks again macube and lucid The community is awesome!

  • macube, that would be great! Thank you very much! My email is captainstefffpp@gmail.com

  • Bump! macube, Thanks for reporting this. I'm using v120 stable. Can't use v121 with even the latest Spriter plugin. lucid, I know you're very busy with Spriter 2 but could you please take a look at this? Thanks!

  • lucid, Thanks for the update. I understand perfectly.

  • lucid, Thank you very much for the update. I can only imagine what your daily planner looks like (ouf!) and it's easy to see how grateful the community is for all the efforts both teams at Scirra and Brashmonkey are putting into your work!

Ashley if there's anything you can send lucid to help speed up the C3 runtime Spriter plugin, please do so. I can't wait to move up to the new runtime and it's literally the only thing stopping me...

    Thank you!

    Stef

  • Thank you so much for all your work lucid! Can't wait to see the C3 runtime plugin! Thanks again!
