    Heck look at that gorgeous video/trailer and stop blaming the software.

    C2 is the most brilliant and intuitive tool I ever used. And the more important: the main focus is on how easy/quick it has to be for everyday usage. You know how much I love it.

    I've not redone my game from GM to C2 for nothing : )

    I even started to learn Playmaker for Unity because I was afraid of the lack of C2 Steam support. Very, very nice tool too.

    Then I came back to C2, I like it too much.

    Your .capx could be way better for Ashley to look at.

    It's the same glitch as mine, with me having the lens effect not working on top of this.

    I must deliver an alpha version of my game for tonight, so in a hurry I just took the title screen from my actual game as a capx. It's not that "minimal", now I understand.

  • Hi, thanks for looking at this issue. It sounds minor, but I use it A LOT in my game :)

    Steps to reproduce:

    Launch the title screen and look at the fire.

    Observed result:

    r161 > the heat effect is not displayed, and particles are cut next to it. You can see red quad corners, too.

    Expected result:

    r160 > the heat effect is displayed, and the particles are displayed on the whole screen.

    Note:

    If the capx ask for plug ins, just ignore it, none is used on this title screen.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: untested

    Internet Explorer: untested

    Operating system & service pack:

    Tested on Win 7 and 8

    Construct 2 version:

    r160 and r161

  • Yeah, I got this glitch too, some particles are cut right as it's overlapping lens effects.

    Shaping a .capx as we speak :)

    The very last beta update (r161) has changed some WebGL related settings.

    Most of my shader effects work as usual, but the Lens shader seems very different. Is it the same for you guys?

    I use it a lot in my game (to mimic Wipeout explosions, distorsion due to heat, etc...), and now I got these quads everywhere instead of distorsion.

    Screenshot bellow, no Lens / Distorsion FX but quad limits glitch.

    ...Anything I should know about this tricky Lens Shader? :)

    KaMiZoTo I definitely can feel a Warioland 4 vibe! The more Coin Op is shapping, the more I'm amazed you never drawn anything before that. Keep up the good work! :)

    Now I know I will have to hire someone.

    What will you do, will you hire someone to add achievements support to your game too, or leave it this way?

    I think every game dev planning to release their games on Steam should share this C2 > Steam process details, so we can find a solution together.

    I would happily share the costs for a C2 plug in, if someone here think he's able to make it.

    (I already have 2 games I worked on on Steam, but it was made with XNA, and I didn't handle the code on it, so I don't have a clue on how to do so)
