  • I'm not sure I noticed any flickering problem with this game? What does the flickering look like for you? Do you know the steps for how I can replicate your issue?

    (I have a flickering problem with nwjs 0.15, occasionally the screen will flicker black, so I'm wondering if it's a related problem to yours.)

    Got it working, I tried deleting the Greenworks plugin folder and installing the plugin again and now it works!

    Oops, I'm using Steamworks 136.

    does it say anything in the debug console if you hit f12?

    Thanks yeah it says:

    "Uncaught Error: The specified procedure could not be found.

    \\?\C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp\nw7164_4139\greenworks-win32.node"

    I've tried multiple times but keep getting a blackscreen, even when uploaded to Steam, anyone know why?

    As soon as the exe opens it's just a blackscreen.

    Here are things I've done:

    • Construct 233
    • NJWS 0.15
    • Placed the Greenworks plugin (greenworks-0.15.0.c2addon) inside my project.
    • Exported without minify (and tried with)
    • I use the 32bit build
    • created a file called steam_appid.txt in the directory with the app ID
    • placed a file called steam_api.dll inside the package.zip then renamed it to package.nw
    • The exe file is still called nw.exe
    • I open the exe in my folder and then try uploading to steam but it just gives blackscreen

    There are two ways for me: 1. upload on steam Linux and Mac build without achievements and overlay 2. forget about Linux and mac players (10% of all players or so).

    For myself, I'd rather not show achievements linked to the game if it only works on some computers and not on all.

  • Any event sheet improvement ideas I've made in the past have been ignored/unresponded, I hope that won't be the case for you too, but maybe they're wanting to just wait and fix the editor for Construct 3 instead?

  • Do I need to bother selecting quality of the OGG file if I'm already importing an OGG file?

    Do you reckon it'll come in time for the summer sale? We missed the christmas one!

  • purplemonkey I'm not sure what you're trying to do, as Animmaniac pointed out you can't actually do what I was going for without using something like the Canvas plugin.

  • Do all the objects have to be on the layout already for it to work? Can I create an object from a different layout?

  • Oh nice, it's good to finally see a Steam plugin for C2! I hope it won't be too much work to get it working for Mac too.

    Hopefully this will be ready soon, now that NW.js is looking decent.
