  • Prepare for some brutality

  • It's intriguing, I'm looking forward to play that thingie.

  • Hey peeps, how's it going?

I'm currently working on some details like the character glitching out and some other effects here and there..

    Also:

    -Added 2 new weapons.

-Bought some 8-bit sounds for the game and replaced all the placeholders.

    -Added stage 5.

The official finished version will be ready soon <3

  • Thank you Lordshiva1948

    How's it going everyone?

The update is out on itch so you can go and grab it, it's free while still in development and I am looking for your precious feedback <3

    >Cyber Kitten on itch.io<

    v1.3 changelog

    • Reworked the gameplay from scratch
    • 4 stages
    • 11 weapons
    • Added more impact to the strong weapons
    • 5 enemies in two versions (normal/angry)
    • 3 different power-ups to collect
  • Hey gang, first and foremost, Merry Christmas!

Since the scope was getting too big we reworked the game a bit and simplified/removed what seemed to be too complex/useless. The updated version will come on itch.io shortly and you can find more info in the first post of the topic.

(sorry for laggy .gif though :/)

    Till next time

  • gillenew You work so hard on that game, you deserve a good amount of success off that.

  • what exactly are you talking about? I'm not sure if I get your point about C2 not being codeless. It's event-driven programming, there is no single line of code you need to write there, everything is based on events. Before buying, you could download the free version first, right?

  • PrinceofMars haha! I felt really weird reading that just to realize that those are actually my words.

I've been following your work on Twitter for a while and all I can say it's CRAZY good, you inspire me a lot, keep it up!

On my side, we had some big changes in Krazy Kitten (had to reduce the scope, we overcomplicated some things) and the development is coming to an end soon. I am really pumped about my first official release and kinda don't know what to expect, but I guess that's normal!

    Till next time

  • parfum why are you copying my posts though? It's creepy to say the least.

  • The project has a nice foundation for being a really nice game, however it needs a lot of polishing and tweaking to make it satisfying to play. You are on the right track so just keep working. I would make the character a bit faster and more responsive, like the jump should be less floaty (I suggest implementing jump strength, you can find it on forums) like Lithileix said, the character should jump and fall quicker, everything should happen at a fast pace in my opinion and then it will be a lot of fun!

  • WildRoosterGFX Yeah they are really nice so I give respect where it's due.

I'm looking forward for the updates in there!

  • PrinceofMars nice! I'm interested in seeing that project, I like the sprites so far, especially the buildings. Never too many shmups!

If you need any help with anything game dev related or just feedback feel free to PM me.

  • This is outstanding, I'm a fan of these kind of visual additions in games and I'm definitely looking forward to the further progress!

That might be a stupid question and a bit offtopic but.. how do you get the grenade to rotate in the way that pixels don't "change" their angle? Like it doesn't rotate smoothly as it normally does in C2 but instead it rotates like it would be rotated in Photoshop or other softwares. That's how I want to rotate my objects in my project I am working on but I thought it's impossible in C2.

  • I like how it's going so far, and that sprite above is pretty darn good! Are you going to use the version with or without the black outline? I personally like the one to the right a lot.
