  • Well, i tested, and retested 4 times not working under Firefox latest version !

    Under chrome it work...so i don't know....

    i allways USE Firefox, that's why i keep it updated, chrome i update it to, but i don't use it too much !

    i don't think 20min for just compiling an empty app with just a button had to take so much time or more...imagine compiling a full game....

  • Under FIREFOX 86.0 (64-bit)

    Construct 3 doesn't work, still SUTCK after more than 20min for just one button & background color changed on the layer !!!!!

    Here i tested with no minifying, same result !!!

    Horrible !

  • I FOUND THE PROBLEM !!!

    CONSTRUCT 3 DOESN'T WORK WITH FIREFOX LATEST VERSION 86.0 (64-bit) !!

    IT STAY STUCK WHEN COMPILING !!

    Under chrome it seems to work !

    now testing that...

  • i tried many times to compile for android with construct 3

    I just added a blue background and a button,

    Tried to compile for android....and cnstruct 3 stay stuck minifying...

  • I have a LAYOUT = Level01

    i want co create a Level02

    SO i DUPLICATE the level & rename it Level02

    BUT if i change the graphics in that NEW LAYOUT02 representing the level02

    It also changes the graphics in the layout 01....

    HOW TO END WITH THIS NIGHTMARRE !!!

  • I never used construct for 10yr. !

    I did lot of test projects but in one layout !

    I'm not asking about PLACING sprites or backgrounds elements !

    I'm asking HOW TO CLONE A LAYOUT !!!

    to change the graphics in the NEW layout02 without CHANGING the graphics in the layout01

    If i select ALL my elements ctrl+a and copy paste them in a NEW layout, if i change them they ALSO change in the layout01 !!!

  • I'm STILL stuck with this problem, ONE WEEK NOW !

    I can't CONTINUE my game devlopment !!!!!

    I created my Level 01, ALL my objects need to be at that EXACT position for EACH NEW LEVEL !!!

    i have my event sheet for all the actions in place !

    HOW can i just CLONE THE LEVEL & change the content of the level02 WITHOUT changing the graphics from the level01 !!!

    WHAT is that stupid DUPLICATE function if the duplicated LAYOUT keep the behaviors of the layout01 ???

    WHAT is used for ??

    BECAUSE it's USELESS !!!

    WHERE IS THE 'CLONE' FUNCTION for cloning a LAYOUT !!!!

    In FUSION 2.5 you just click CLONE and you get a new level02 where you can change the graphics WITHOUT influencing the graphics of the level01

    THEN you have just to add the functions for the level 02....ITS A HUGE TIME ECONOMY !

  • put your mouse events inside a group & then enable or disable that group when needed !

  • Hi in my game i have my layout 'level01' with his own event sheet !

    PROBLEM IS,

    all my levels are almost the same, i just change the background & the obstacles

    Its a flappy bird style !

    I duplicated my Layout named 'level01' and renamed the new layout 'Level02', but when i change the graphics on the 'level02' it also change the graphics on my 'level01'

    It's a huge problem how can i solve this ???

  • Thanks i solved it i divided it in 3 groups, one for each fade-in & out !

  • I have tons of problems with it, because i need this:

    1- At the begining of the level, the circle need to grow and show the level !

    2- when the player die, the circle need to shrink to zero !

    3- when the player reach the end of the level it shrink to zero too !

    those 3 conditions gives me a lot of trouble !

  • Hi, i would like to achieve this, when my sprite reach the end of the level, i would like to make my sprite follow a movement like a spline to somewhere on the screen, how can i achieve that ?

  • Hello in my game i added a time scale, for pause, timescale=0 at the level start

    but i want one object to not be affected by that pause it is possible to do that ?

    i tried to set the "sprite" time scale to 1, but it stay in pause due to the first timescale=0
