  • Hi LastManStanding.

Yes, the columns are inside the layout. Over time, as in the original game, I want the columns to appear more and more frequently and closer together.

I know this will be achieved with a global variable, which I can then modify in the event sheet. But just not sure how to do this. I've tried searching dozens of tutorials - but so far no joy.

  • Thanks for replying A0Nasser. That tutorial was really useful. Much appreciated!

  • For instance - in the Flappy Bird game the columns get closer together and even change angle as the level progresses. In all the game examples and tutorials I have read the difficulty within that level stays the same. Any help much appreciated!!

  • I'm working on a flappy bird type game simply for practice. (The world doesn't need yet another one i know!) I've got most of it worked out, but I can't figure out how to INCREASE the number of columns over time so they get closer and closer - increasing the difficulty level.

I'm sure it's really straightforward - but I've just started out with Construct2 and it's beyond me right now. Any help much appreciated! Thanks.
