  • I would say youtube reviews caused it:

Game Theory: Flappy Bird, PewDiePie, and Pasta Sauce

This guy actually points out some interesting things that not only helped flappy bird, but could help everyone here as well. His whole channel is fantastic in my opinion. Give it a watch.

  • Yes, I would agree with You need to get domain and do domain mapping. Otherwise, and I mean no offense by this at all, it will look hokey. If you are trying to be a legitimate business then nothing looks more unprofessional, in my personal opinion, then a website that has no legitimate domain and/or email addresses from major providers such as gmail/yahoo/hotmail. Additionally, resources for WordPress are abundant. There are several hosting providers that offers specialized WordPress hosting accounts and will assist you with common issues.

  • Aurora Correct, Linux is an OS. Where people seem to get confused is Linux is just a kernel, and what people use when they say "I use Linux" are just different distributions/flavors of that kernel with additional and often varying userland utilities and applications. Another conventional term to use to express Linux is Linux/Gnu like I used above.

  • I have not reached this goal yet, but this is something I would love to know as well. Congratulations by the way for being such an active user within this great community!

  • There are actually several games I have come across that are in Google play or other game markets. I am currently in the process of making a game I plan to release to mobile markets myself. I would say it is worth it.

  • It's a difficult question to answer. The terms are used so interchangeably that PC can mean it is running Windows or Linux (technically I can boot all 3 from either a `Mac` or `PC`, you just need to know what you are doing). Mac is pretty much self explanatory and people who use the term `Mac` in reference to a computer are almost always referring to a machine running MacOS.

Additionally, Linux games do not require that it run Ubuntu OS. The Steam package that is available on the Steam site should run on any Linux/Gnu OS that can accept .deb packages (which is a rather large list these days, even OS's like Puppy Linux and Tiny Core can install .deb's). I personally prefer operating systems like Funtoo or Arch Linux and they have native and community provided steam packages.

  • I own both, but I really have to say that I love the classic art style of "Game Dev Story".

  • Sure thing. Liked.

  • This should really help me spruce up my game design! Thanks for the excellent work!

  • Currently playing Mega Man X, Medabots AX, and Smash Bro's. Research stuff.

  • I would have to say a big/complex game is `Beastie Bay` and `Game Dev Story`. I have beat them but it basically has infinite replay value. Or if you wanted a fps there is `Modern combat 4`. It's great but you will want a moga controller for it. If you are wanting a mmo `Order & Chaos Online` is the way to go. There is a pretty big player base and they constantly add new content.
