I was playing around again with Construct 2 and was wondering whether or not i can check if the cursor is between 2 specific angles of an object. For example the mouse being between 70 and 110 degrees of a player or it being -20 en 20 degrees etc.

Hi guys,

So i am working on a game again in Construct 2 and let's just start by saying i am a beginner.

Right now i have an issue where i can properly shoot my bullet up with a bullet behaviour.

Right now i charge a bullet by holding my mouse key making it bigger. As soon as i release

the mouse key it should shoot up. This works but the problem is the following:

In the first attachment you can see that the bullet is growing correctly out of a certain point.

However as soon as i release the button it will spawn on another place with another angle.

Now i do sort of know the problem because i think it has to do with the bullet angle of motion however

i have no idea how to fix it or another way to let the bullet go up.

I hope someone can help me with it?

Im getting a bit into construct 2 but isn't construct 2 ideal to make a portfolio or are they some technicial difficulties?

I have not much knowledge about these things but i do need a new portfolio and i thought maybe construct 2 is the way.

I am practicing with construct for some time now but my project bar disappeared for some reason.

I think it is because i switched screen but i am unable to get it back.

I checked the View menu, reseted the dialogs, cleared the registry and reinstalled the game.

Anyone has any idea how to get it back?

I wanted to ask if it was possible to trake mouse gestures. I wanted to check if someone "shakes" the mouse as in

moving left and right really quickly.

This might me too farfetched for a beginner like me but is it possible?

Pretty random yeah but it actually worked. LOL. I don't know why i put that word doc in my folder. Probably because of my shitty touchpad.

Hi there,

So i found out about this software a week ago but i keep getting stuck at saving.

Whenever i try to use the normal save, it gets stuck at the "saving.." screen. It will go on forever.

I am running construct on windows 8.1 x64.

I was not sure where to put problem so i put it in general.

I hope someone can help me with this problem.
