  • Hello, I have exported two apps and both are now on amazon.com

    http://www.amazon.ca/Little-Composers-PRE-PiANO/dp/B00VCIWZ1Q/

I used the Intel XDK to build the .apk file and what bugs me that there are all kinds of unwanted application permissions.

How can I get rid of those?

Also, I specify Android version 4.2 and target 5.0 but the export says 2.2 ... weird.

    Thanks for helping!

  • scirra.com was just added to my email rules.

  • Hello Incid,

I (think?) I've asked the same questions just a few days ago.

It just so turns out that you can look in your ejecta-master > Resources directory and replace the icons in there.

Hope that is what you are after,

    V

  • kossglobal,

maybe I am misunderstanding you but generally speaking, I think you should not go there.

How ever, if you must, then look at your index.html file and find this line:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no, minimal-ui" />

    Have fun,

    V

  • Does anyone know if it is OK to replace the Ejecta splash screen and icon images?

    I hope it is.

  • Hi, I just built iPad and iPhone apps with Ejecta and wonder how I could reload the screen?

I've added a sprite (to replace the button) and made it so that when the sprite gets touched, the scene would refresh.

For some reason, that doesn't work.

I know that I can't use the button object so .... how do you guys do this?

And, is there a way to take/save a screenshot?

It all works in HTML5 but when I export, it doesn't.

    thanks,

    V

  • Hello everyone,

I just posted a new app which was especially developed so that young children can learn to play piano by ear.

The only pre requisite is to know the colors red, blue and green as well as how to count to four.

A special "THINK YOU" goes out to backhornet for improving and optimizing the backend.

The usage is quite simple (as it should be):

Above the keyboard are four bars of music. Each bar holds four notes. Which notes doesn't matter as long as the color coded keys match the background of red, green or blue.

Tapping (clicking) on a bar changes the background color. The last bar stays red because otherwise, the song doesn't feel to be finished.

Once I have a little more time, minor chords will get added and maybe I can find room to expand to eight bars instead of four.

If you have a little sister or brother who loves to play ... this app should be FUN.

  • Hello,

I haven't visited much lately because I am working on a LMS (learning management system) ...

Are you looking for a project that helps children?

If yes, Little Composers would appreciate your time and skill! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

We (Little Composers) are on track to become the premier learning site for creative children and because of the mountain of work which lies ahead I am posting here to see if someone is interested in joining me.

If you are willing to contribute a few hours of your time and skill, you will be featured on the website (staff) and gain valuable experience and who knows what else in the future?

The only pre requisite I ask is that you love to help children and it would be great if you have a love for music as well.

    Sounds interesting?

Contact me via the http://www.littlecomposers.com website or post here and I will get in touch.

This is my invitation to you to become part of something that is growing and ready to prime time in 2015.

    Are you in?

  • Thank you for shedding light on this issue.

I will implement your suggestion(s) which will provide a better user experience.

Safari, Chrome and FF seem to work fine but IE still waits for that first touch per piano key.

I'm sure that your reply will be useful for many of us,

Thank you so much for providing it,

    V

    NICE JOB!

I love what you have done. This is much better than the previous one.

    Be good,

    V

  • Thanks guys

A google search for "my is not showing in google play" generates a lot of info and I found out that if I put my search in quote marks, "pre piano" can be found.

All in all, I am not impressed with the Google Play Store.

How ever, it does serve a great purpose of publishing something for the sake of establishing a "first used date" which can be important for those of us who are registering trademarks.

I will publish one more app and if the experience doesn't improve, I might just skip Android for the time being.

    Cheers,

    V

  • Google Play does not impress me.

I have 10 apps in iTunes and never had a problem but my app, PRE PiANO which a published two days ago does not show up in Google Play.

I can see it in my dashboard and it says that the app is compatible with my device but using my phone, it does not come up when I search for it.

Pre Piano is a pretty unique name.

From Google, I expected better than that.

Anyone else having had issues like that?
