Can you share your project? It is impossible to help in these kind of cases otherwise.

When a red rectangle is shown in the layout it means that for some reason C3 is not able to create the texture it needs for display.

What is the device you are trying to run C3 on? If it is an older computer or a low end mobile device it might just not have enough memory to generate the texture. Maybe your display drivers are not up to date. It's hard to tell.

Can you see any messages when you bring up the developers console by pressing F12?

It may work for you but no matter what I do, it's still red.

If you copy the is moving event then 'right-click > invert' it changes it to 'is not moving' and you can use that to set idle animation.

So, I'm working on a top down RPG thing, sorta based on the Mother series.

I have a system for the walking animation to start when the 8-direction behaviour is moving, but I don't see how to make it go back to idle once it's stopped.

How do I do that?

When I import a tileset (it's big), and I look back at the layout view, the tileset is red, and I can't place anything. How do I fix this?
