It doesn't lag on my computer at all.
Are you using WebGL, and do you have an external graphics card?
I have no idea what you are trying to build here, so I cannot really improve on it without that.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I would honestly just break the loop and reinstate it on button presses.
You have to use ids for each spell and link the spell id to each button.
You can do anything (including triple jumps) if you are willing to program it manually. I don't know anything about Constructs built-in double jump, but I have a few ideas on how I would do double/triple jump manually.
Mate, where do I change the header? In the index.html or in the Construct 2 project? Can't work out where to put it in the index.html, am not use to html, am a c# coder. Could you please elaborate a little?
It is not in Construct. You specified that you are running your own server. Which server?
No, accounts are all done server-side with code and a database.
You need to change the HTTP Header "Content-Type" to "text/html".
Has something changed since then?
Probably. My Java mentor said, "Two years is an eternity in the computer world." So, a few months is still a good amount of time.

If you are submitting online things, you need server side code and a database to store all of this stuff.
Connecting with Facebook is as simple as using their public API.
If you have your heart set on Node.js:
