  • two games really - just a basic escape game where you change scenes and find things, like the old adventure games. find items, put in inventory, use those items, go to next room, have interactive dialog.

    -also just a hidden object game where you find a list of items, maybe earn points per item, then when all items are found you can move to next scene. or maybe like 'amazing fix veteran house'

  • is it possible to make an escape or hidden object game with construct2? is there a tutorial?

  • its working now, I opened the program and clicked to open the start page then it worked. not sure if it just started working or if the start page forced it to load because I opened start page before the tutorial.

  • I tried that then restarted the program. It didn't work. thank you for helping though, I have no idea what to do.

  • I was buzzin right along with a tutorial and today construct 2 wont switch to layout view. I click layout and it moves in front of event sheet but never switches. If I minimize the program then whatever I have on the monitor when I bring it back up is what shows in the layout view. For example this website. If I then click event sheet it shows up but then when I click layout it just keeps showing the event sheet. I'm using the free version which I downloaded last week. I run winxp. Any thoughts pls?
