  • Hooking my laptop up to a second screen fixed it for me

  • Anyone else have any idea on how to get this to work on only one layout?

  • Yes, I didn't think of that, so I assume I need to add another event sheet and put my timer on that or something?

  • I have made a timer for a quiz game that I'm making for an assignment.

The timer works perfectly but it works for all layouts, how do you bind a timer to one layout?

My timer looks like this :

    Added Global Variable : Countdown = 5

    System : Every 1.0 seconds > System : substract 1 from Countdown

    System : Countdown = 0 > Go to layout

  • Thank you for your quick reply.

I don't have time to test this today anymore, but I will tomorrow and will get back to you if it worked.

  • I am trying to make a quiz game for kids with construct 2 for an assignment.

The client wanted to randomize the questions so the order of questions is always random.

I would like to know if it's possible to do this with construct 2. I have tried to Google it but I couldn't find any examples.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Well don't we feel stupid now. Thanks for the quick reply and take care!

  • Problem Description

We are working on a project for school and we think we have encountered a bug.

We are trying to link buttons to certain layouts but they only work for the first page.

When we try to link a button from the second layout to the third layout, it

doesn't work while we use the exact same method as on the first layout.

We use the free version of Construct 2 and have installed the latest update (r163).
