Ludei takes a % of your adds? How much?

  • I would be interested, designing graphics myself slows my production speed.

I make games for ios and android. (Arcade style addictive games)

However i can't offer a paid position for now, only profit share.

If you are interested shoot me an mp. (With your portfolio or whatever)

I already have a game in production and it´s about to be finished.

  • There are many solutions. The most logic one would be to use families and set this parameter for thatsaid family so it will affect everymonster.

But you can bypass it with Pick all & random (0,1)-> rotation

    Hope that works

The pathfinder behavior might be an option too.

  • Use for "pick random instance" instead of for each loop

  • Now i have access, i read it.

So the company pays to the client for elements and the client still have the permission to use it for his own?

Someone already used this template, it works?

Someone had problems with the company or the client? what happend?

Depends. He has the right to use his art in his portfolio for instance. But if it's exclusive art (and in most of cases it is) he cannot use it in a different project.

At your level of production it works, i mean if you have the money go a lawyer. If not this contract will be fine.

Many people had problems yep. But many of them haven't had them. Once again, at your level you will lose more money suing someone especially if they are freelancers or low revenue profile persons.

For me those kind of contrats are, you know. Like a good hand shaking. And can work only if the 2 parties are in the same country. If i'm in belgium and you are in US bouahahah you can always try to get me. It will const you thousands of dollars.

  • Hi,

    I study law.

Basically all you need as a developer is the permission from the artist to use his stuff, which is automatically protected by intellectual property rights, in your project under conditions you both agree on.

I don't like the use of company because i have doubts you are a company at all, that means a moral person.

You can use a sui generis contract for profit share (there a are a lot of stuff on the internet you can get inspired by). Just don't forget to write about the designation of the court in case of litigation and write about the case if one of the parties don't accomplish its prestations. Because just saying that the artist must deliver stuff without mentioning the consequences in fact of non delivering is just you know....bluff.

Anyway. I don't want to enter the details because i study in Belgium and here is a different law system from the common-law (uk/america)

  • Well I was expecting better for 1 year project.

If you don't mind i will make some remarks.

The sound of the robot shoot is awful, too much high frequencies and anyway the volume is too high.

Use preload samples because when i tested the sound was delayed.

But what's most disturbing considering you are a 10 years experienced graphic artist is the background.

Animations are okay for a prototype but the parallax is very messy, by moments i can't distinguish where to go.

I suggest blur and better aesthetics.

Regarding the programming i can fix it for you but i am interested by a paid position.

Anyway good luck with your project

  • Hi dudes i really would like a little help to avoid looking for this during hours.

I need the formula or a tutorial on how to resize moving sprites depending on the screen ratio/resolution size.

Because everything is stretched but my moving sprites not. If i apply anchor behavior they resize but the can't move.

I believe there is a formula i can use resizing x and y on creation of that said moving sprites

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • The dimensions of the sprite sheet are 2030 × 1218

Well i fixed the lag by lowering animation speed to 5 frames per second. I need to rebuild my animation now cause it's too slow. Never knew C2 wouldn't be able to deal with 24 frames animations smoothly

I rescaled the entire animation by the way, it affects download size not the performance i think

  • It's a 147ko spritesheet

  • Yep i made a falling animation (around 100 frames, 24 frames second) of a falling ball that has mouth and moves eyes..

The animation is lagging when i test it.

Is it really too harsh to have a 24 per second frames animation?

If yes could you tell me about the norm in frames for animations and frame numbers?
