  • Perhaps you could do it with else conditions?

Nah else is a break whenever the if condition does not happen.

    What i want is:

I want an ice-cream and (an apple juice or an orange juice or a multi-juice)

  • Damn i am beginning regretting the freedom of code :'(

So among to the inexistence of "disable collisions with" function, "set origin point to" function comes a third issue.

    It's about or blocks.

Basically I want to use or blocks in addition to an existing condition.

    Like

    I have this:

-If woman overlapping with zone 1

-And if boy overlapping zone 2 -----> woman move to boy

    But i want this

-If woman overlapping with zone 1

-And if: *boy overlapping zone 2 -----> woman move to boy

    OR*boy overlapping zone 3

    OR*boy overlapping zone 4

    Sub events do not work

I am forced to do the same condition for each zone. There are. 9 zones. So 9*9=81conditions...sweet

  • nup, there is not. but you could use the X.y coordinates of the player, since they always refer to image point 0. the way to do this would be like this:

    player.x, player.y = default 0

    player.x+10, player.Y+10 = dynamically changed on runtime.

you could even set this to something like: player.X+variable, player.Y+variable.

anyway, it's rather simple actually =P

    Oh nice idea. thanks

  • Hi,

I know you can choose an image point of the object ''b'' while moving ''a'' to ''b''.

But is there a way to actually change the origin point of let's say the player dynamically? Choose between several image points.

    Thanks!

  • Does family option help into something? I do not have personal licence (yet) but I believe with family it is possible to make some conditions like that.

Nope because once again you don't have such an options as desactivate collision for*.

You only have desactivate collisions (of the said object, all te collisions)

I hope that someone will figure this out.

  • Ashley is it possible to make such an option for a future release?

I looked for plugins no one can provide it :/

  • I guess you can pick some objects in one condition "pick n'th instance" as often you need, and "set collisions enabled" = false for all of them.

    Tell me if it works.

    Nope it wont work.

And the reason is because we don't have such an option. We only have disable all collisions for an object and not for some objects.

That's lame because i think it can be easily fixed with code.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Everything is in the title.

I know it sounds silly but there is actually no option like this.

I have enemies that must pass through some solids but must accept collisions from other stuff

    thanks

  • Hello,

I would like to have the syntax formula to get the x and y position of a single instance (among several ones) of an object using UID or IID.

So for instance every tick->find path to (object instance 1, or object uid 4)

  • Hi,

I am an amateur C2 programmer.

In order to enhance my skills and learn quicker I am offering my skills.

Templates, multiple screen resolutions, mobile devices support and of course logic related stuff in C2.

Due to being an amateur i will not charge a lot.

I work quick and have already worked with 2 people with success.

You can contact me by mp or by email: [quote:2vyccvm7]agaev.vladimir@gmail.com

  • What kind of programmer are you looking for?
