  • Problem Description

If I use a dancepad as custom controller, not all "buttons" will be regonized in Chrome/NW.js. But they are regonized in firefox very will. Through I want to build an desktop app, its important that it works with crome/NW.js, too.

The two marked fields (see picture) does not work with with Chrome/NW.js. In firefox they work as buttons 6 and 7 (Gamepad.LastButton()). And strangely the middle button of the pad is not regonized in ff but in Chrome/NW.js as button 13.

Usually a USB dancepad works as a normal plug & play controller within windows.

I guess i have to map the keys different within the plugin js files.

But do you have any hints what I have to change?

    Construct Version: 227 (64 bit)

    NW.js: v0.15.0 (Chromium 51)

    Windows 7, 64 bit

    Edit:

I also tried top find the correct values through this page:

    http://html5gamepad.com/

result: everything is fine in firefox, Chrome still does not regonize these two buttons <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very Sad">

    Edit:

Seems to be a Chrome bug....

But you can upvote the problem, maybe they will fix it then <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

Just log in with your google account and click on the star in the top left corner.

  • How do I tweet an image/canvas snapshot (web)?

I assume I have to write my own plugin that makes a snapshot, uses it as the webmeta data for a twitter summary card which can get tweetet...? Or is this somehow easier to handle?

  • Thanks, I think the local storrage should do it. But where is the file stored on your computer (NW.js export)?

  • I working on a desktop game and want to save some user options like the controls to something like an ini.file.

So the user should be able to change the options without starting the game.

I'm not sure how do do so.

I googled a lot about ajax, local storage, xml and those things but I'm really not sure how to do it.

I would like to have an ini.object like in construct classic

  • Why is the INtel XDK free?

    Whats the benefit for Intel?

Do they store the source code of all your games or do they sell your private information like google, facebook etc.?

  • I would like to know a few things in terms of android & construct 2.

Which is the best exporter and which versions of android you can develop for?

How is the actual working state? I read a bit about audio problems and such.

Can you really recommend construct for creating android apps?

    Thanks for your answers.
