  • shinkan - OK, nevermind what I said about assigning an action to the middle mouse button. Seems like no matter what, it does it off the start and then no longer does it. Weird.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • shinkan - Yes, I just tested it out and it does that for me as well. It doesn't do it in fullscreen mode or if you resize the window so you're entire layout is visible. If you have an action assigned to the middle mouse button, the first time you perform the action, it will bring up the scroll icon (and execute the action). After that, it doesn't seem to happen again. I'll let you know if I find another solution... it's not exactly top priority at the moment, but eventually it might be something I need to address in my game.

  • Yeah it sucks. But at least I can test things out with my gamepad for now until we figure out the problems. I'm going to look into upgrading to 7 this week and see if it solves the problems. I expect it will... but man that really limits the end user market.

  • Yeah, that is disappointing. Guess I need to get rid of Vista and move on to 7.

Regarding the shortcut fix for node-webkit... It works, but I get a random freeze of a few seconds every so often. Anyone else have this problem that have tried Arima's shortcut solution?

  • After the update i loaded up my newest project (that was running fine yesterday) and performance was terrible. I just did the chrome beta update to 33 and it didn't fix the problem, however, I think I may be getting a couple of extra frames of speed. It's still not playable though.

  • Hi. I'm having the same problem as Jaydon. I've tried with my own animation and with the greyman example off the spriter site.

I tried following along with the youtube example here (i cant post urls yet apparently):

    youtube.com/watch?v=2yLiMxoUIVs

The plugin is installed correctly and the greyman appears in Construct 2's editor mode. All the files exist in the project folders. The event sheet is set up correctly.

But when I try to preview it (tried in chrome, firefox, and node webkit), the greyman is not there.

I tried to place the greyman in the layout itself and he does not show up at all when previewed.

Any thoughts? I'm using the steam version of Construct 2.
