    There is no way you can set the strength of the second jump in the platform behaviour

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 Create project
    • Step 2 Add the platform behaviour to an object
    • Step 3 The second jump is as strong as the first one, which is ok for some games, but in others we need that the first and the second jump have different strength

    Observed Result

    The object can jump two times with the same strength

    Expected Result

    Like in most of the games that have the double jump feature, the second jump is not as strong as the first one

    If you could set the strength of the second jump it would be much more realistic

    It's just a few sprites, one of them without effects, and the second one with "Brightness" effect set to 75%

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 Run project
    • Step 2 Check the images

    Observed Result

    The sprite with the brightness effect has black corners

    Expected Result

    I expect that the brightness effect respect the transparency of the PNG images

    No. I was hoping to get some reply from Ashley or intelrobert, but nothing so far. Looks like imaffett is at Intel too, maybe he would have some input.

    If this isn't supported, okay, but there is no official info from either Intel or Scirra that says 'videos are MIA on crosswalk'.

    What's frustrating is that it works great on chrome mobile. I have a pretty low end android device, but amazingly enough I can not only play a video at decent speeds when previewing in chrome mobile, but I can even layer a grain field and scanlines over it and use a webGL distortion effect while maintaining decent fps (trying to do a crt effect). That I can do that on my device blows me away. Except...I need to publish as an app, not a webpage.

    I guess I ought to just start a separate thread about this.

  • WebM (VP8, vorbis) and OGV (Theora, vorbis) also fail. All of these videos run fine in chrome for android and firefox for android.

    Why doesn't crosswalk support this? Is there some additional step required? Where is the missing link here, in the video plugin, or in XDK?

    This is getting really aggravating...

    Because if you are talking about the red "X" on top of the music and sound buttons, I think it works good.

  • Hi JamesXXXYZ Thanks for your time! 1. I installed a few platform games and you are right, "Vertical Planes" are usual, so I'm going to add them. 2. I will see what can I do about "Double Jump". 3. I have fixed the snail thing (next beta). I will let you know when it's complete! Yey!

  • Somebody 1. I have changed (in beta) the spaceship velocity in the "World Select" layout. (What do you mean by "movement and jumping in general feels a little like an underwater stage in other games") 2. I'm trying to optimize the game so FPS be as high as possible. 3. I will add spikes to that enemies. Thank you so much!
